What could be better than getting a free tree? Seeing the smiles on your neighbors’ faces when you give them a free tree!
Our first tree giveaway of 2024 is coming up and we need volunteers like you to make our Free Tree Giveaway coming up on May 18 a success! The training will be virtual, and the event takes place at Stillmeadow Community Fellowship
In this training, you’ll learn all about our giveaway event and how you can help. Together we will review the general event flow and the various volunteer roles needed. You’ll be able to ask questions and chat with experienced staff. We’ll also cover some fun facts about the tree species we are giving away. If you haven’t already signed up for a volunteer shift, you’ll have the opportunity during this zoom call. Completion of this hour-long training course is not required in order to volunteer at a free tree giveaway event, but is greatly encouraged.
