May 18 @ 12:00 pm 2:00 pm

Join us at Stillmeadow Community Fellowship for a tree giveaway this fall and discover the many benefits of native trees. Blue Water Baltimore is partnering with Baltimore County EPS, Baltimore City’s TreeBaltimore and Stillmeadow Community Fellowship to offer a variety of tree species to residents of Baltimore City and Baltimore County to plant in their yards.

From small flowering and fruiting trees to large canopy trees, each one makes a difference in our city. Trees cool and clean our air, absorb stormwater, increase biodiversity, and beautify our neighborhoods. Ultimately contributing to improved water quality by reducing runoff and if located near your home reducing your energy usage to heat and cool your living space.

Registration is now closed. If you registered for a tree come between 10a to noon to pickup your tree. If you did not please @ noon.

We have 200-300 trees to giveaway from 12p until we run out. Please come if you missed registration- we will have a nice selection of trees to choose.

Don’t know where to plant your tree or which tree to select? No worries, we will have expert staff and volunteers who can help you pick the right tree for the correct location on your yard. Check out descriptions of the trees we have available and care instructions on our website.

Tree Adoption requirements:

  • Trees must be planted on your property and not in the public right of way, at a school or at a church.
  • The location of the home must be in Baltimore City or County
  • You must be willing to plant and care for your tree until it is mature
  • If you registered for a tree and do not come before noon, it will be offered to anyone who comes.

Volunteers will be sought to help run the event with staff. Volunteers can help with a variety of tasks during the event including setup, tree runner, tree selection expert and traffic flow director. Please sign up for our virtual training on May 16, if you want to volunteer.
