Mount Olive United Methodist Church GSI Planting

In partnership with Mount Olive United Methodist Church, Blue Water Baltimore has removed 2,000 square feet of impervious surface and installed two new bioretention systems and conservation landscaping on the church property. Together, these systems will manage stormwater runoff from more than one acre of land, including over 30,000 square feet of impervious surface. During a two inch storm, the completed project will be able to capture and treat nearly 29,000 gallons of stormwater! We need volunteers to help us install nearly 1,000 native plants and pollinator friendly species that will help absorb stormwater, provide habitat, and bring these new green spaces to life.

Please complete the registration form for each attendee, including those under 18. All attendees are required to complete a waiver, and all attendees under 18 must have a paper waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Instructions for completing the waivers will be emailed to you after registering. Please be sure to review this email before the event. All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone on the day of the event.
