Engagement Coordinator (Seasonal)
The Engagement Coordinator supports the work of Blue Water Baltimore as it relates to outreach, engagement, and educational efforts and events. As part of the Engagement Team, the Engagement Coordinator will work closely with the Restoration Team to provide support for community outreach, education, volunteer engagement and retention, and support the team in the field. The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the consistent delivery of BWB’s educational programming and advocacy messaging to Baltimore City and County residents, students, stakeholders, and the wider community. This position will end on September 1, 2024.
Volunteer Coordinator (Seasonal)
The Volunteer Coordinator supports the work of Blue Water Baltimore as it relates to stewarding and managing volunteers participating in our outreach, engagement, and educational efforts and events. As part of the Engagement Team, the Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with the Restoration, Water Quality and Development Teams to provide support by recruiting, coordinating, managing, tracking, and supporting volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator provides meaningful opportunities for BWB volunteers to support community events, community outreach, tree planting events, and water quality monitoring. This position plays a key role in building a volunteer stewardship and recognition program. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for communication, volunteer retention and data entry. This position will end on September 1, 2024.
Restoration Technician (Seasonal)
The Seasonal Restoration Technician (SRT) supports project implementation and maintenance to improve water quality/health. The SRT will focus on tree planting, summer watering, and maintenance. Responsibilities encompass planting, staking, mulching, watering volunteer engagement, and tree surveys. Other projects include pavement removal, cistern installation, and green stormwater infrastructure implementation. The position works closely with a small team. Weekend work is required on volunteer dates. The role will end December 2024.
