Engagement & Volunteer Coordinator
Position Summary
Salary Range: $50-55K
The Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator builds and sustains a thriving volunteer program that advances clean water and community health with residents from Baltimore City and County. This role designs equitable systems for volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, and recognition; coordinates with program teams to deliver high-quality engagement events; and uses data to continuously improve outcomes. The ideal candidate is Baltimore-savvy, people-centered, highly organized, and committed to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI). The role will support the organization’s environmental mission by recruiting, training, coordinating, and retaining volunteers for various programs, projects, and events. The Coordinator also facilitates informational events and community briefings that introduce residents and partners to Blue Water Baltimore’s programs, services, and ways to get involved, and leads community-driven engagement grounded in cultural humility and long-term relationship building.
