Tree Planting: Belair-Edison Community – Day 1

Volunteers Wanted

Get your hands dirty for clean water and a greener Belair-Edison Neighborhood!  Help us complete a project that will plant over 300 trees along 1.2 miles of streets. Volunteers will learn how to plant bare-root trees in previous dug holes. First timers, student groups and families welcome. And please let us know if you are a Baltimore TreeKeeper!

Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Wear clothes and sturdy (closed-toe) shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. There will be snacks and water provided. Please bring a water bottle to reduce plastic waste. We will provide the trees, gloves, tools, training, and lots of fun!
