Due to anticipated rain, this event has been moved to Sunday May, 22 and the meeting location has been adjusted.
Planting trees is good for the water, good for the air, and good for the soul.
Get your hands dirty for clean water! Join Blue Water Baltimore for a volunteer tree planting in the Ridgeleigh and Loch Raven Village Neighborhoods. We will be planting street trees, yard trees and helping to plant trees at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
We will provide the trees, gloves, tools, and training. There will be some locations where volunteers will need to drive their cars and carry tools during the event.
Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Wear clothes and sturdy (closed-toe) shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. Please bring a water bottle.
First timers and groups welcome. And please let us know if you are a Baltimore TreeKeeper!
These trees are big! This planting may not be the best volunteer event for children and families.
