Tree I.D. Hike
1929 W. Franklin Street
Baltimore, MD 21223
This is a once-a-season opportunity that you won’t want to miss! Join Blue Water Baltimore for a morning of tree identification along the unique US-Route 40 median! Your tour will be guided by our Community Forestry Team. They will teach you tips and tricks to identify young trees in early spring along with stories about Blue Water Baltimore’s forestry history. After the hike, we will head over to Zella’s Pizzeria in Hollins Market to socialize and talk trees over their delicious pies and local brews.
Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable close-toed shoes. Be prepared to walk a mile through the median to reach the planting site. If you have a tree identification book or a hand lens, you are encouraged to bring these along!
