Storm Drain Art Workshop

Sharing is caring!

Help transform your neighborhood’s storm drains and inform your community about the connection between our streets and streams through adopting and adorning a storm drain. This donation-based workshop is held in Blue Water Baltimore’s Remington classroom. It will give a general overview of the program and prepare community leaders to facilitate their own storm drain art projects (including the DPW application process). After attending this workshop, attendees will be permitted to check out one of our Storm Drain Stencil Kits to use for their project.

This event is done in partnership with the Smithsonian InstitutionWater/Ways Exhibition, the Historical Society of Baltimore County, and Maryland Humanities.

We request a $5+ donation to help sustain this unique program (credit card, check, or cash). We hold about six donation-based workshops per year though March – October. Fee-based, on-demand Storm Drain Art Programming is also available upon request — check out our Ecoliteracy Programs for details.
