Harford Park Tree Planting

Get your hands dirty for clean water and a greener Harford Park! Join Blue Water Baltimore and Harford Park residents for a volunteer tree planting in Harford Park along Herring Run! We will be planting over 77 trees . All of these trees will be getting deer fence to ensure robust growth and survival. If you like flexing your shoulder muscles, we will be doing a lot of stake pounding. First timers, student groups and families welcome. And please let us know if you are a Baltimore TreeKeeper!

Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Wear clothes and sturdy (closed-toe) shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. Please bring a water bottle. We will provide the trees, gloves, tools, and training!

After the planting, volunteers are invited to join the community for a potluck afterwards! This project is supported by Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
