Harford Park Community Tree Planting
Get your hands dirty for clean water! Join Blue Water Baltimore for a volunteer tree planting in the Harford Park neighborhood! We will be planting 25 trees in homeowner’s yards and on the street. The street trees are larger trees and make a great impact to the neighborhood. Volunteers will form teams to target specific blocks and will be led by a staff member or experienced tree planter. Volunteers and staff will be traveling to various planting sites by both walking and driving personal vehicles.
Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Wear clothes and sturdy (closed-toe) shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. Please bring a water bottle. We will provide the trees, gloves, tools, and training!
First timers, student groups and families welcome. And please let us know if you are a Baltimore TreeKeeper!
After the planting, volunteers are invited to join the community for a neighborhood potluck!
