Har Sinai Tree Planting

Get your hands dirty for clean water! Join Blue Water Baltimore and Har Sinai congregants for a volunteer tree planting at their synagogue! We will be planting 31 trees as part of our One Water Partnership. All of these trees will be getting deer fence to ensure robust growth and survival. If you like flexing your shoulder muscles, we will be doing a lot of stake pounding. First timers, student groups and families welcome. And please let us know if you are a Baltimore TreeKeeper!

Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Wear clothes and sturdy (closed-toe) shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. Please bring a water bottle. We will provide the trees, gloves, tools, and training!

This project is supported by Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
