Free the Trees: Invasive Removal Party
Remington and 33rd Street, 1983 Remington Avenue
Baltimore , MD 21211
Volunteer and Site Captain, Jenny Katz couldn’t wait until Project Clean Stream to tackle the villainous vines along the Stony Run! As the vines grow up the trunk, they choke out the tree and will eventually kill it. The resulting dead trees then increase the erosion of the stream banks and hasten the decline of this valuable urban green space.
Join her and the residents of Wyman Park as they free the trees of Stony Run from the deadly grips of invasive vines.
Volunteers should meet under the bridge where Remington Avenue meets W. 33rd Street.
Tools, gloves and coffee will be provided. Children and friendly pets are welcome.
