Tree Planting in Baltimore County

Get your hands dirty for clean water and a greener Baltimore!

Join Blue Water Baltimore staff as we plant trees in yards and along the streets of the following neighborhoods: Anneslie, Stoneleigh, Rodgers Forge, Idlewylde, Knollwood, Wiltondale, Loch Hill and Gaywood. Novice volunteers and expert TreeKeepers alike are welcome to attend. Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, and we recommend closed-toed shoes and clothing that is appropriate for the weather and getting dirty. Hats, sunblock, and sunglasses are strongly encouraged. We ask volunteers to bring a reusable water bottle to reduce our waste. We will be using cars loaded with our tree planting tools to move between sites after check-in, welcome and training. If your car can carry tools we would love that help. Once trained you will work with a small group to plant a list of trees and return to the pool to celebrate and enjoy a meal and return your tools.
