Waterfront Partnership’s Healthy Harbor Initiative, along with BWB and a coalition of environmental partners, invites you to exchange clean and empty beverage containers for cold hard cash at Mr. Trash Wheel’s first ever Cash for Trash event.
Bring your containers (cans and bottles less than 1 gallon) to Peabody Heights Brewery on Saturday, January 31st from 12PM – 3PM. Containers will be counted and redeemed for 10¢ a piece, with a 1,000-container per household limit.
Partner organizations will be on-site to share how a Maryland Bottle Bill works, why its effective, and what it could mean for Maryland communities and waterways.
Peabody Heights Brewery will be offering half off the first draft beer for participants.
Volunteers are needed to help sort and count bottles!
