Please join us for a listening and feedback session to learn about our largest project to reduce polluted runoff. Baltimore Municipal Golf Corporation is leading the charge to install this project and model practices that large landowners can install.

Learn about the design features of the project that remove pollution

Background on the project

The project features four interconnected ponds connected by dry stream beds across holes 18, 11, 10, and 9 at Forest Park Golf Course. Cityscape Engineering designed the project to manage stormwater from 137 acres of the Howard Park Community’s watershed of which 20 acres are hard surfaces like pavement and roofs. Blue Water Baltimore has been working with Howard Park Community Association to plant street trees within the neighborhood and within the Gwynns Falls Watershed for this project over the past 2 years.

Funding for design provided by National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Funding to complete design and construction provided to BMGC by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
