A little care goes a long way in the life of a tree! Join Blue Water Baltimore’s Restoration Team to help us care for existing trees in the Oliver Neighborhoods. Tasks will include removing old stakes and ties, removing old greenwells (watering aids), doing some light pruning and picking up litter. Novice volunteers and expert TreeKeepers alike are welcome to attend! Please be prepared for working outdoors and be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Hats and sunglasses are also strongly encouraged, and don’t forget a reusable water bottle!
Note: Please complete the registration form for each attendee, including those under 18. All attendees are required to complete a waiver, and all attendees under 18 must have a paper waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Instructions for completing the waivers will be emailed to you after registering. Please be sure to review this email before the event. This event is best suited for youths in middle school or above.
