Join us for an engaging and informative event focused on the critical issue of industrial stormwater runoff in urban areas. As cities continue to expand and industrial activities grow, managing stormwater has become increasingly vital for protecting our waterways and public health. Attendees will learn about the environmental impacts of industrial runoff, regulatory frameworks, and best practices for sustainable industrial operations as they walk through the Pigtown neighborhood.

This event will occur rain or shine! Please be prepared for walking outdoors in the heat or cold, depending on the time of year. We recommend closed-toed, comfortable walking shoes and clothing that is appropriate for the weather. Hats and sunglasses are strongly encouraged. We will provide snacks and drinks, and we ask volunteers also bring a reusable water bottle or drink container to reduce waste.

Note: Please complete the registration form for each attendee, including those under 18. All attendees are required to complete a waiver, and all attendees under 18 must have a paper waiver signed by a parent or guardian. All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Instructions for completing the waivers will be emailed to you after registering. Please be sure to review the email before the event.
