March 7 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

A little care goes a long way in the life of an urban tree! Join Blue Water Baltimore at a Pruning Party in the Howard Park neighborhood to help us prune and maintain recently planted trees. Novice volunteers looking to learn more about the pruning process and seasoned expert TreeKeepers alike are welcome to attend!
PLEASE NOTE: This event counts towards TreeBaltimore’s TreeKeepers certification, as well as volunteer credits for students of middle school, high school, or college age. Tools will be provided, but volunteers may bring their own pruning equipment if they prefer. Volunteers are encouraged to bring eye protection for falling tree debris. All pruning will be done from the ground level on public street trees only.
