October 19 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Join us at Stillmeadow Community Fellowship for a tree giveaway this fall and discover the many benefits of native trees. Blue Water Baltimore is partnering with Baltimore County EPS, Baltimore City’s TreeBaltimore and Stillmeadow Community Fellowship to offer a variety of tree species to residents of Baltimore City and Baltimore County to plant in their yards.
EVENT TIMES:
Pick-up for pre-registered trees is between 10 am -12 pm. We are sold out for this portion. If you ordered a tree please come during this time!
Walk-ups from 12p until 2p or we are out of trees. For walk-ups, please come close to noon for the best selection of trees.
Stillmeadow Peace Park Celebration is happening at the same time! Consider joining them to celebrate their outstanding work to improve Baltimore’s environment. Activities for the entire family, including Celebration Ceremony, Pollinator Planting, Nature/Meditation Walks, Food, and more!Â
From small flowering and fruiting trees to large canopy trees, each one makes a difference in our city. Trees cool and clean our air, absorb stormwater, increase biodiversity, and beautify our neighborhoods. Ultimately contributing to improved water quality by reducing runoff and if located near your home reducing your energy usage to heat and cool your living space.
TREE OPTIONS:
We have over 15 trees species available to select see below what maybe available for walk-ups at noon. Trees range in size from 1′ to 5′ tall in pots that are 1-3 gallons. They can easily fit inside of a small car either in the driver or passenger seat. If you bring a pickup truck, please bring a tarp or blanket to cover your trees.
Don’t know where to plant your tree or which tree to select? No worries, we will have expert staff and volunteers at the event who can help you pick the right tree for the correct location on your yard. If you need more guidance, you can check out descriptions of the trees we have available on the order form and care instructions on our website.
