Join Blue Water Baltimore, Trash Free Maryland, and a host of local breweries to clean up Baltimore’s waterways and get a free beer for doing it!

Cheers to Clean Water is a fun way to clean up litter and collect data in support of better trash policies. Cheers to Clean Water shows that clean water, great beer, and healthy communities go hand in hand! Local Baltimore breweries partner with the cleanup and offer volunteers a free beverage at one of the local breweries after the cleanup! Cheers to Clean Water and hundreds of volunteers have cleaned up over 10,000Ib of trash over the last 5 years!

The ‘22 Cheers for Clean Water will focus on plastic bags in the environment. Montgomery County, Baltimore City, and several municipalities already have requirements in place to incentivize consumers to use their own bags. We believe it is time to take these incentives statewide!
