Let’s give away some trees together! This spring, help us increase Baltimore’s tree canopy as a free tree giveaway volunteer.
Join us for this virtual training on Wednesday, May 5th from 5:30-6:30.
Each year, Blue Water Baltimore, TreeBaltimore, and our partners give away more than 1,000 trees to residents of Baltimore City and County for free. We want to see our canopy grow and we need your help!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this program now includes pre-registration and curbside, contact-less pickup. In this training, you’ll learn how our new program will work and which volunteer roles are needed. We’ll also review basic characteristics of the available tree species. Trained volunteers will have the opportunity to sign up to help our staff give away trees to residents at our two spring events including Ridgely Manor Park on Saturday, May 15th and Stillmeadow Community Fellowship on Saturday, May 22nd.
Many thanks to our wonderful partners for making this work possible! Sign up for the virtual training here:
