It’s our 10th birthday and you’re invited!
In June 2010, Blue Water Baltimore was founded through a merger of five amazing watershed organizations, and it’s only gotten better from there. Join us as we turn 10 – a milestone we’re celebrating all month long!
June will be full of fun events, special stories, and virtual high-fives with some of the thousands of people who have made the last decade possible. Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s to come:
- Hear from our founders about how Blue Water Baltimore got started this Thursday at noon on Facebook.
- This Friday, June 5th, learn about your waterways and how to take action with Repair the World.
- Join our #TrashTag cleanup challenge on Sunday, June 7th. Be sure to tags us, wear a mask, and wash your hands!
- Register your #quaranteam for free online trivia night on Thursday, June 11th.
- Keep an eye out for a special Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper reunion on Wednesday, June 17th.
- Save the date for our (virtual) party on Tuesday, June 30th! We’ll have contests, games, and a special birthday gift challenge to launch us into the next ten years.
From all of us, thank you for helping us grow from a bold idea into a force for nature. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Of course, if you’re an over-achiever, why not make a birthday gift?
